During a 4-week Agency Bridging Programme at Ocean Design, I had the opportunity to work on a non-live client visual identity project for Greengrowers, the first vertical farm in New Zealand.
Greengrower's Background
Greengrower aims to transform Aotearoa New Zealand's produce market. We plan to revolutionize the horticulture industry by shifting from a supply-led to a demand-led market. Using Toronto-developed controlled environment technology, we defy
climate challenges and urbanization, ensuring year-round, sustainable, and consistent
high-quality produce. Our approach guarantees supply, bringing stability and affordability to the market.

My Concept
I'm inspired by Greengrower's use of technology to produce sustainable and nutritious products throughout the year while minimizing resource consumption. My focus for the brand is on highlighting how vertical farming can positively impact both individual customers and B2B clients. This involves integrating the brand's technical and future-focused aspects with an approach that is friendly and accessible.
Creating an inviting yet transparent brand identity is crucial to encourage customers to embrace the technology without feeling overwhelmed by its novelty. The goal is to present the innovative concept in a way that is both welcoming and easy for customers to understand.
